Thank you.

Thank you Soooooooo... much "Thmperr".
I love your Design. And have wanted a Colonial Viper since forever.
I am a child of the eighties (Born in the 70's).... I have wanted to print my own viper since I first heard of 3D printers.
Nuff said!
I found the files that "Thmperr" provided.... ran them through "OrcaSlicer".... printed them one by one on my new Bambu Lab A1.
But I had issues with the Wings and Dorsal Fin, and the central peg that holds the body together.....
They were too lose and the glue I used was crap.
I knew enough about OrcaSlicer to know I could adjust the Y to make the wings and Fin thicker at the attachment joint.
I took the wing Y adjustment from 4mm to 9mm... same for the Dorsal Finn. Wings are still slightly lose, but will push into place and stay unless you pull on them (glue could be used for permanent hold. But my model, didn't need glue.
The central PEG need to be made bigger 12mm x 12mm x I think 60mm long... some sanding may be required on two sides to make a prefect, not too tight fit through the engines and the main fuselage.
Important things to note:
I used brims, and Slim Tree Supports on all Files......
My A1 has 4 speed settings...... I used Ludicrous on Engines, Fuselage, and the PEG.
I used ludicrous on the Wings until 80%, then cut it back to Sport mode to finish them. Used the same for the Dorsal Fin.
(please note.... I used lots of filament to get the settings for the wings and dorsal fin perfect) I have 6x wings of various Y sizes, and one dorsal fin..... these are now un-needed. But I may use them to make my own "Hodge Podge".... what we in New Zealand call "Hori" or mongrel breed model at some stage. Add a wing here, another part there..... whalla! Frankenship!
Please make sure your build plate is very clean before you start! always a good thing.
Use good filament!..... I used standard cheap silk silver PLA. And at Ludicrous speed, it came out great.... Bambu A1, YAY!!!!!
it was a fun build.
Even the work I put in adjusting the files was a great learning experience.
But the ultimate was the end result.
BTW: I showed to friend whom I got into 3D printing.
Then I had to adjust the original files using what I learned to create files for the Bambu A1 Mini's which they both have.
I haven't tried printing them, they will get the files today when I catch up with them..... I don't have an A1 Mini now as I gave them to my friends...... I really wanted them to enjoy the 3D experience. And the A1 Mini is Awesome... just smaller that the A1.
My thanks again to "Thmperr"..... Truly a Great item.... and how awesome to share it with everyone.
If you use these files.... Please! Please! give a like and maybe a follow to the Original Creator "Thmperr"
All that I did was make it a bit tighter fit.
