Volve S60 2L Intake Port Walnut Blasting Adapter

I designed this to be used for my son's 2015 Volve S60. It's an adapter that connects to a 6 gallon vacuum (about 45mm) and then over each intake port. You can then insert a sand blaster wand in the hole to clean the valves of carbon buildup. I used Harbor Freight's 20g pressurized sand blaster and their 20lb box of walnut shells (about $100 total).

Obviously use this at your own risk and make sure you watch some YouTube videos on the process. You need to turn the crankshaft bolt clockwise before cleaning each cylinder to ensure that the valves are closed. You'll probably need an inexpensive endoscope to get a good look at the valves.

Seems to have worked great for my son's car and so far the frequent misfires he was experiencing have gone away.
