BAMBU A1 G-codes 38.5cm Long Colonial Viper (170%)
G-codes are made directly for a BAMBU LAB A1 .....256x 256x 256 build area.
This is another Re-Mix of a Colonial Viper Provided by "Thmperr" this time at 170% 38.5cm long
Dimensions: Approximately 38.5cm (385mm) long x 13cm (130mm) High x 21cm (210mm) wide.
Printed in 6 parts, with the engines printed in one print..... same as Thmperr's original files.
The engines took about 6-7 hours at LUDICROUS speed.
The FUSELAGE about 3-4 hours at LUDICROUS speed.
Wings about 3-4 hours... a mix of mostly LUDICROUS speed, then to 100% speed to slow it down for the last part.
The tail fin was about 2 hours at LUDICROUS speed.
The PEG was less than 1 hour at LUDICROUS speed.
All parts were printed in original orientation.
with thin tree supports, and a brim.
I wanted strength, so there were 3x walls.
Time and amount of filament is unknown..... lots and lots of printing... trying ... printing again... and finally a YAY!
Filament is PLA silk silver, and then PLA purple. All non brand name filaments.
These parts should print without any issues on the Bambu Labs A1..... with the right filament. High speed filament would probably be preferred, but I used normal filament.... Hmmmm well it worked fine for me!
Thanks again Thmperr.
I thought I could just resize the ORIGINAL files, but scaling up 170% made the parts fit very loosely again.
Once again..... I scaled the files one by one. Then I re-mixed the wings and tail fin, and peg to make a tighter fit.
5 wings, 3 fins and lots of filament later, I had the right numbers for a close enough fit to keep me happy.
All parts fit reasonably snugly.... except the PEG. The PEG was a fraction too tight... I did my old trick, and sanded two side of the peg to make for a snug, but not too tight fit.
SORRY GUYS!.... but some sanding on the peg is a must!
Please build.... share..... and most of all find Thmperr's profile and add your builds to his profile.
And Thank Him On My Behalf for sharing his talent with the rest of us!
And please understand this fact..... I am just a builder/user of his files, making a few adjustments here and there for my own reasons EG.... I am too cheap to buy glue.
I will provide photos of my Builds to help with scale. The original size, and the 170% size.
I am sorry to those who do not have a Bambu A1, I used what I had.... I am not smart enough to make STL's yet, so everyone can make the big one.
I fyou have a Bambu A1..... great.... this is for you.
Happy printing.
AND DON'T FORGET TO THANK "Thmperr"! you got it!... good.
