1960's Chevy Corvair Heater/Cooler Resistor Adapter

This is a simple model for adapting a small resistor wire/board module to the wider mounting holes of a 1960s Chevy Corvair. The resistor wire/board is often used in controlling the speed of the heater or air conditioning unit of the vehicle. They come in different shapes and sizes and may not perfectly mount to the chassis of the vehicle, hence the use of the adapter board.

See photos for an example of a small board that is adapted to the larger spacing.

Since boards may come in different sizes and with different locations of mounting holes, only one hole is provided for mounting the board to the adapter. The second hole must be drilled after the board is aligned for its installation. See photos for details.

Recommended to print in PETG for additional heat resistance.
