Crafters Desktop Vise

My take on a typical benchtop clamp-on vise. For light use only. Good for arts and craft type projects.

Provided are a few options for the handles. For non-slip jaw surfaces print the grips using TPU and glue in place. PETG will make a stronger vise over PLA.

The vertical screw parts get glued (CA glue) together. Make sure to assemble the screw before gluing the griping parts in place. Also, be very careful not to get glue where not intended. A toothpick works well for getting glue into very small places.

The horizontal screw handle parts get assembled using a 5/32" x 1-1/4" long roll pin (purchased part).

Note that the horizontal and vertical screws are supplied alone (to print as you desire) and in a disposable support cone. This cone keeps the screws stabilized while printing. Simply discard the cone after printing.
