Body Mounts for Jiabaile 3602 Monster truck And Rock Bouncer Body.

For mounting custom bodies to Jiabaile 3602 Monster Truck.

Mounts clip onto chassis. Disconnect battery to avoid shorts. Connectors are tight so try to avoid pulling wires as the will pull out of the plug. I pry them with fine point tweezers and small flathead screwdiver.

There is a single hole for mainboard using existing screws. Charging board is held on with a strap and existing screws. Tip - Screw screws into strap first, then align with holes on mounts. I push the board in tight so strap is to rear of board. Battery cover is deleted and battery is taped to mainboard.

You will need to remove lights as they are in the way of most bodies. With the Jeep body I was able to leave front lights connected.. I double sided taped them to front of mount. Whether you de solder them or snap them be sure to check for shorts before plugging the battery in.

For mounting the body I use 5mm x 2mm rare earth magnets for quick body swaps. I use the mount with no posts and glue 4 single magnets to the mount. I then stack magnets onto glued magnets, forming towers until I'm happy with ride height. I then remove magnets and print cylinders the same size, less one magnet of course that I glue to the roof of model.

NOTE - This rock bouncer body only requires rear magnets. The front of the body mount pushes hard into front of body that holds it firmly. As my model was design and construct, I printed a seperate rear magnet shelf and glued it in place. I've added the shelf to this model but is untested so you may have to play with ride height' eg. add a magnet maybe.

I've also included a mount with 25mm posts should you wish to slice to size and glue to body.
Tip - Rare earth magnets being so strong tend to break the glued joint of magnets so i put a small piece of masking tape over all 8 magnets. This weakens the magnetic bond just enough to not be a problem.
