DIY drill press
This is how 2040 v slots and linear rails can be put together to help achieve right angle every time, in case of lack of access to drill press .
list of materials:
2 x mgr12 rails with 2 mgn12h carriages on each (the precision is not critical here - the cheaper the better, 400mm clones in my case)
2 x 2040 v-slots (I used stock ones for my ender3 of 400 mm which I replaced with others) of same length as the above rails
8 x DIN 912 M5x25mm screws - to mount top and base to V-slots
3 x DIN 912 M5x(12mm to 20mm) screws - to hold the tool (drill)
48 DIN 912 M3x8mm screws - 32 of them to mount linear rails, 16 to mount tool holder to carriages.
32 drop in T-nuts m3 for v slots
3 m5x13mm steel rivet nuts (not ideal, dedicated 3d printer inserts are much better!)
preferable print settings: tool holder sliced in half (in PrusaSlicer) with some connectors to achieve biggest strength
Infill: honeycomb, 3d honeycomb or gyroid infill at least 20% the more the better, the thicker solid layers the better (I used 2 mm)
I tried ironing, which turned out not so well due to being out of tune.
used PLA+, but ideally should be PETG.
