Watch strap 22mm end cap / Uhr Armband 22mm Endkappe

One of the smallest 3D parts I have ever designed and printed without any problems. This is the end cap of a flexible watch strap with a width of 22mm. Standard straps are much too long for thin wrists, so you have to shorten the flexible strap with a utility knife (mine was 3 cm) and then get a new end cap. After cutting the strap, I first applied a drop of superglue to the cut area. Then, carefully, I flattened the area between my fingers to fit the slot in the end cap. After letting it dry briefly, I applied another drop of superglue to the cut area and pushed it into the slot in the end cap. With a little effort, I was able to relocate the small Velcro patches and reattach them. I always use 3D printing adhesive (3D Kraftprotz) for everything. By the way, the dimensions are the same as the original.

Eines meiner bisher kleinsten 3D Teile, welche ich konstruiert und problemlos gedruckt habe. Das ist die Endkappe von einem flexiblen Uhrenarmband mit einer Breite von 22mm. Die üblichen Bänder sind viel zu lang für dünne Handgelenke, weshalb man das flexible Band mit dem Cuttermesser kürzen muss (bei mir 3cm) und dann eine neue Endkappe benötigt. Nach dem Abschneiden des Bandes habe ich auf die Schnittstelle erst mal einen Tropfen Sekundenkleber gegeben. Dann vorsichtig diese Stelle zwischen den Fingern abgeflacht, damit es in den Schlitz der Endkappe passt. Nach kurzem austrocknen dann nochmals etwas Sekundenkleber auf die Schnittstelle und in den Schlitz der Endkappe eingeschoben. Die kleinen Klettflächen konnte ich mit etwas Aufwand auch versetzen und wieder neu ankleben. Verwende für alles immer einen 3D-Druck Kleber (3D Kraftprotz). Die Abmessungen sind übrigens wie beim Original.

Gedruckt mit PETG schwarz, Schichthöhe 0,1mm, mit Skirt, ohne Stützen.
