Battery Covers & Mounts for Milwaukee/AEG Slide-Style NiCd/NiMH Packs (SCAD+STL)

This archive includes the safety covers, as well as a model for a mounting bracket for storage convenience.
These are for the early 2000's era Ni-Cd and later NiMH slide-style packs used by Milwaukee & AEG prior to the current Li-ion battery families.
These files are sized specifically to fit 14.4v packs (48-11-1024). That's the only size that I have to measure.
For other voltages, the SCAD model can be adjusted as necessary. See the internal commentary and drawings.

These are some of the more common related part numbers (Milwaukee):
12v packs: 48-11-1900, 48-11-1950, 48-11-1960, 48-11-1967, 48-11-1970
14.4v packs: 48-11-1000, 48-11-1014, 48-11-1024
18v packs: 48-11-2230, 48-11-2200, 48-11-2232

The cover model has some configurable options, and there are two STLs:
1: one which should fit OEM Milwaukee packs
2: one which has added clearance to accomodate some aftermarket packs (see internal notes and images)

The mounting bracket model has configurable options, and there are premade STLs:
1: with holes for drywall/flathead screws
2: with flat bottom holes for sheet metal or machine screws
3: with no holes so that you can use adhesive or add your own holes to the STL
-- each of these options is provided either with or without the locking tab.

They print easily with very minimal supports. Print the caps vertically, open end down, with supports only on the end faces. See the SCAD file for notes on printing the mounts.
