Foldable Ladder / Hinged Ladder latch cap / stopper

The hinges of my foldable ladder were terrible.
They had a sideways play, in such a way that when one of the latches got too far in, the lever would go over the latch instead of pushing it.

These caps solve the problem in two ways:

1) Each cap prevent the latch from moving too far in, keeping it centered within the hinge.
2) The cap provides a greater surface area for the lever to hold on to.

For this particular model, they would just go in with pressure, but glueing them in place is advised.
you may push them by hand or hammer them in (with light force).
