Tanto Knife

Designed to be completely 3D printed with the addition of one part. The design features a void space in the knife to accommodate a 6mm solid carbon rod for strength. The rods are easily found at hobby shops for model airplanes and online. The rod will need to be just shy of 220mm (8.6")

It measures about 10" long with a blade length of about 5.5". I suggest to print the first 2 - 3mm in carbon reinforced filament. This will aid in edge durability and look like the folded steel of a samurai sword; Then change to standard colour for style. The grip is printed separately and CA glued to the main body.
