Cyberdeck MK III
This is my most current version of my cyberdeck builds. It's under construction, but i can share my progress:
I wanted to have sth. portable, but powerful enough to connect to a server via SSH and do some administrative tasks.
I wanted to have as much communication potential as possible and i wanted to have something that's battery lasts for a long time:
Here comes MK III
At the moment It has:
- a Adafruit SharpMemory Display
- Best of both worlds of LCD and EInk
- Fast refresh
- Good readability
- Low power consumption
- A Blackberry Keyboard
- I always loved Blackberry!
- I think its the most compact but yet useable form-factor!
- With Zitaotec's PCB its possible to connect it via USB!
- A 4 Port USB-HUB
- I needed this because Raspberry PI Zero 2W only has one "useable" Port
- Used to connect two WIFI USB cards
- Used to connect my Keyboard PCB
- Used as an external USB port
- A I2c GPS Board
- Offering real GPS functinality
- Has minimal form factor incl. antenna!
- A Raspberry PI Zero 2W
- The heart of the system
- A Raspberry Pi Spy Cam
- Mini camera to be able to fit it underneath the pi
- offering full camera functionality via pi-ribbon connector!
- A I2C vibration module
- Giving haptic feedback to the handheld
- Easy to control via python libs!
- Two WIFI USB adapters
- Connected to two external antenna sockets for better signal strength
- One for 2.4Ghz and one for 5Ghz
- Both capable of monitoring mode
- (one to deauth and one to sniff maybe }:-> ...)
- Adafruit Powerboost 1000C
- for Charging and powering the pi
Description how to build and assemble follows when it progresses ;-)
What works so far?
- Screen and Pi work great together
- Powerboost is able to boot the system
- Keyboard in isolation worked when connected via cable to the pi
- 3D Printed case fits and is closeable now xD
