ATX Breakout Board Bar Nut Strap
Description:
I had a few spare PSUs sitting around and was looking for an easy way to turn them into benchtop powerstations when I ran across brotherchris’s and saltkunmazbeige’s designs. They were awesome and inspiring so I started to build my unit. When I got the XH-M229 board I found that the nuts on the terminals kept backing out when I would loosen or tighten them up. I quickly designed this strap, having done similar things in the past, to try to resolve this issue, and viola!
Parts:
None, except for the XH-M229 breakout board to which this applies.
Assembly:
Undo the backer nuts for the terminals from the backside of the breaker board, and then put the nut strap on the nuts between the terminals and the board, take the chance to tighten up the terminals themselves if loose, then tighten the backer nuts up again.

Joke of the Design:
Just a quick original joke to celebrate the posting of this new design (it helps if you have low expectations):
My wife was choking, so I hurried up and pushed her further underwater.
