Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W CO2 Monitor Case (SCD40 + 1.8" TFT)
Description: This is a compact desktop enclosure for a DIY Air Quality Monitor based on the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W.
I designed this project to monitor CO2 levels, temperature, and humidity. It houses an SCD40 sensor and a 1.8-inch SPI TFT display in a single case.
Design Features:
No screws required: The case is designed for a completely screwless assembly.
PCB Mounting: The Raspberry Pi Pico and the TFT display are mounted onto printed standoffs (pegs) that fit directly into the mounting holes of the boards.
Sensor Mounting: Designated space for the SCD40 sensor.
Ventilation: Includes slots for airflow to ensure correct sensor readings.
Assembly Instructions:
Boards: Mount the Pico 2 W and the Display onto the printed standoffs. Once in place, apply a small drop of hot glue on top of the mounting points to secure the boards firmly.
Sensor: Secure the SCD40 sensor inside the case using hot glue.
Lid: The back cover is a press-fit design. It simply slides in. You can add a drop of glue to fix it permanently if needed.
