EDC 4mm Slimline Screwdriver with Bit Holder

An attempt at a small function screwdriver, measuring only 70x35x5mm Just about small enough to fit into a wallet if needed.

It holds 4mm bits, designed for 28mm long, but can go up to 30mm. Haven't been able to measure torque (my torque meter only goes down to 10Nm, which is way above what you'd need for a 4mm bit), bit it's surprisingly strong.

Print Guide

Using a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.2mm layer height. 32% infill (3d cube)

Body is in PETG printed vertically to make sure the layers wrap around the bit hole for maximum strength. You'll need support placed in the tray hole, 'normal auto' works well (see sliced pic).

Tray is printed in TPU, flat. If you just want the tray on it's own, use the bit_holder-firm.stl, which has bigger grips and cross bars for a stronger hold on the bits.

Assembly Guide

Just push the TPU tray into the hole in the driver.

There is space for a 3x1mm magnet at the bottom of the bit hole. Just center the magnet on a wide bit (e.g. T10), dab some glue on it and slide it into the hole. But even without the magnet, it holds fairly well.

Happy screwing!
