WORX PowerShare 20V Battery Meter
A simple little battery checker for WORKX batteries without a built in battery meter.
You will need:
[] 4 M3x8 screws
[] 2 M2x4 screws
[] 2 contacts, I used "Quick Disconnect Spade Connectors, Non-Insulated, Solderless, 1/4" Male Tab, 10 Stud Ring"
[] meter for a 5S lithium battery "1S 2S 3S 4S 5S 6S 7S 8S 1-8S Lithium Battery Capacity Indicator Module 4 Sections Green LED Display Tester Li-po Li-ion"
Print the STL files in the orientation given, meter mount standing on back edge, and meter bezel laying on its face and no supports are needed.
Prepare the contacts by filing to 1/4" (6.3mm) wide on most of the length, then leave about 3mm of the full 8.4 mm width and cut off. See the detailed picture.
Solder wires to the contacts and push into the base from the outside.
Be sure your meter is set to S5 for 20V, you may need to unsolder the S1 selection and solder the S5 selection.
Solder the wires in from the back and cut of any wire that comes to the front.
Screw the meter into the base with the M2 screws and tuck any excess wire under the meter.
Screw on the meter.
Slide it easily onto any battery you want to check.
