Redline EZ50 / EZ100 Parametric Powder Cup & Lid

Redline EZ50 / EZ100 Parametric Powder Cup & Lid

I got tired of only having three powder cups for my Redline EZ50 powder coating gun — and buying additional replacement cups gets expensive very quickly. So I designed a fully 3D-printable replacement cup and matching lid that you can make yourself.

To make it even more useful, I made the entire design parametric. If you want to store more or less powder, adjust the dimensions to suit your needs. All of the most commonly changed settings are clearly grouped at the top of the Generator.scad file under the “COMMONLY EDITABLE VARIABLES” section, making customization straightforward even if you’re new to OpenSCAD. This is also my first attempt at OpenSCAD.

The design is built for:

  • Smooth, printable threads
  • Adjustable thread clearance for a perfect fit on your printer
  • Support-free printing where possible
  • Optional features like a bottom standoff ring and underside lip chamfer

Nearly every aspect of the model can be adjusted if you want to fine-tune it further.

Important:
This model requires the BOSL2 OpenSCAD library. A download link is included directly in the .scad file for convenience.

If you print this and make improvements or variations, feel free to share them — I’d love to see what others come up with.
