XCarve Dust Boot
I traded a wooden slot car track for an older Xcarve 1000mwith the Dewalt router. It didn't come with a dust boot or the brackets to attach the n boot to the Z axis, so I made my own. There are plenty of other designs out there, but this one is easily adjustable and removeable when needed. You will need two of the bristles which came from someone else's design, and the adapter only if you require it. The cover slides into place after you are done setting the bit into place before you carve. It seems to be very effective with my shop vac attached, as long as I remember to start it. You will need two 1/4x20 Toilet bolts and matching nuts to attach it to the Z axis. When Printing, you will need supports for the main body. I used PLA for the entire print except the bristles with 25% infill and a wall thickness of 4. Bristles are TPU.
