Ridgid 5Gal shop vac Damaged hose repair connector

I have a ridgid shop vac with a hose that had a hole in it. I looked every where I could think and found nothing to repair it and a new hose is too expensive, so I created this coupler to be able to cut out the bad part and connect the hose back together.

I have included the freecad files so you can modify it for what ever size you need.
