Slip fence for tablesaw to cut grooves

This is a slip fence, 8" long with 3/16" graduations, designed to help cut dados using my 1/4" thick flat toothed dado blade.
This is a rough design based on a Facebook Reel posted by Sawinery Woodworking. https://www.instagram.com/reels/DUzEZc8ki9P/
I use an Infinity 8" Flat Toothed dado blade with a 1/4" kerf for my dados. It doesn't leave ridges in the bottom of the dado like a stacked dado.
Instead of moving the main fence, this setup lets the fence face shift 1/16 or 3/16" with each pass, widening the groove in a controlled way.
It’s faster, cleaner, and easier to repeat than moving the fence.
