Room Alert Network Rack Relay Box/Building Power Monitor

Relay box in a style to an AVTech Room Alert that can be mounted on a network/server rack. This is intended to be used as a power monitor for an AVTech Room Alert that triggers when building power is lost. Room Alert devices can be POE powered and most switches have battery backups on them which makes it not very useful to determine if building power is out. Some battery backups are too sensitive to provide meaningful alerts. The Room Alert typically checks the dry contacts/relay every 30 seconds.

Connect the USB C Power to the relay power and signal. Connect the dry contacts to COM and NO (normally open) on the relay. Configure your Room Alert to trigger an alert accordingly.
