Universal Field Monitor/Tablet Clamp Tripod Mount
With two of these clamps you can connect a cheap 7 inch monitor (e.g. intended for Raspberry pi) to a arca-swiss-plate or directly to a tripod.
Additional material required: threaded rod M5, two self locking nuts.
As you see, the lower nut is in counter-sunk and thus does not interfere with the tripod mount. The upper nut uses a washer to remain accessible and can be tightened to grab the monitor firmly.
The cord is kind of a safety line catching the monitor if disconnected from the tripod.
The lower hole which connects to the tripod originally was intended to connect to an arca swiss plate, but I decided to directly screw in the ball head connector - which broke the clamphole - but this does not affect stability. So maybe you should widen the lower hole to your needs.
The ballhead-clamp you see in the cover photo is then connected to a leg of my video tripod allowing me to view myself while filming.
