Bicycle spoke nipple holder - wheel building tool

No, it's not a clothespin :) (but it is inspired by it and uses a clothespin spring). It's a tool to hold nipples while you are building a wheel with a tapless rim (rim without holes on the outer wall). You can route nipple with a piece of carbon steel spoke throudh rim with a magnet, then use this clip to hold nipple in place when you removie spoke piece and replace it with real spoke (watch this ParkTool video for more details youtube.com/watch?v=6yMUyyZnhAQ ). A nipple slot in the clip has some angle, so you can easily spin the nipple without catching the rim. The clip designed around 29/28 inch wheels with 32 or less spokes. On 27.5/26 inch wheel with 32 spokes it's probably would catch on other spokes, so you should shorten the handles.

Print 1 piece as posted and another using "mirrored" setting in slicer, then assemble it using a clothespin spring. PLA and 100% infill works great.
