Summary

Inspired by the Metmo fidget toy, I thought I'd have a go at drawing up and making one of my own.

works well enough for me!!

This is also a pretty good test of how well tuned your printer is. I was very surprised how well the gears worked!!

Post-Printing

IMPORTANT NOTES

            <div><p>The gear was drawn with a 5mm bore and the top/bottom with 5,5mm bore. This was to allow for final finishing (bored on my lathe and the top and bottom reamed to 6mm.</p><p>2 pieces of 6mm dia silver steel (drill rod) was used for the spindles.</p><p>I have added files with 6.1mm bore gears and 6mm holes in the top/bottom, so if your printer is spot on, these could be ok.</p><p>Also added the STP files so that you can alter bores to suit!</p></div>
