UNIHIKER Terminal-Cyberdeck
UNIHIKER Terminal-Cyberdeck
A tiny, portable cyberdeck built around the UNIHIKER because normal computers are boring.
This build is all about the 3D printed shell: a compact, angled terminal-style case that turns the UNIHIKER into a proper handheld deck. It’s designed to feel like a mini command station screen up front, controls tight, and everything selfcontained. Print, drop the board in, wire it up, and you’ve got a pocket sized terminal with attitude.
And Oh...do not forget your:
2X - M3 screws
2X - Hex nuts
2X - Washers.
1X - 2600mAh Mini Backup External Battery Portable Cable Charger USB Power Bank (or any cylindrical shaped power bank)
1X - Of course also the Unihiker M10, I have not tried it with Unihiker K10
The enclosure is split into clean, easy to print parts with space for routing cables and mounting the board securely. It is meant to be hackable remix it, add ports, slap on extras, whatever fits your workflow. The back keyboard enclosure can be fixed with 6 M3 but you can glue it permanently like me as the keyboard can snap from top.
On the software side, it runs a lightweight Linux environment with Python support, so you can turn it into anything: monitoring tool, IoT controller, portable dev box, or just a cool looking terminal to mess around with but I like turning every GUI off and just mess with the Shell. In the future I will add crazy modular external sensors and modules to it. I have configured the Unihiker OS (buster) to load custom colors, screen rotation to landscape, mouse cursor to always show while using GUI and other cool configurations which you can full customize yourself here in my github, fork up and use it.
