35mm Film Digitize Adapter for Nikkor 40mm DX

This remix is an adaptation of the 35mm Film Digitize Adapter (Film Scanner) Ver.2 by shiura. It has been shortened to work with the 1:1 focal distance of the Nikkor 40mm DX lens. There is a holder for 35mm film and a second holder for 35mm slides so to create both you will want to print 2 tubes and lockrings. I got the best results by slowing down my printer to get fine printing control for the filter threads on the tube and locknut.

To assemble you will need:
Four M2*6 tapping screws (I harvested screws from old 8mm videotapes)
One fine rubber band (diameter around 4cm)

The parts do not need support structure when printing.
Use four 2mm tapping screws to attach the holder to tube.
The screw to the lens and locknut is very fine. Use fine printing parameter to get clean threads.
