In 2012, my daughter became a tissue donor, donating her heart valves after being stillborn at 39 weeks, 3 days. My wife and I are actively involved with organ donation awareness through Lifebanc, which is Northeast Ohio's Organ Donation Procurement Agency. I created this tile as part of a gift I am making for her birthday after a couple of unsuccessful searches for one. I used AutoCAD Inventor Pro and printed it on my MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen printer. The DonateLife2 file has a thinner solid section on the back. I didn't like the way it looked when I printed the first version (I thought it was a bit small), so I scaled it up 150% and it measured 1.5" square, which looked better.

I added a picture of the finished product. I paused the print just before the letters started to take shape and used acrylic paint to fill in the blue and green sections.
