Bookself speakers modular coloum

The design is inspired by speaker coloums which uses several speakers laid in a coloum focused on a point for great sound impact.
This design is for mini coloums for bookshelf speakers using 2 inch speakers. It is a modular design where u can mount either 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 speakers on each channel to create a coloum. The coloum is designed concave where sound from all the speakers converge at 900mm which is ideal for bookself speakers. This design is also ideal for speaker septup of desktop computer when placed beside monitor the ideal distance for seating position.

Hardware required:

  1. 2 inch 5 watt speakers
  2. 3mm screws to mount the speaker

Print Instructions: (the 3mf files have placed exactly on the plate to print)

  1. The 2 inch speaker box need to be printed with speaker mount hole downwards and not using any supports. In slicer use bridge speed around 50 mm/s. walls-3, infill-40% will make the box rock solid.
  2. Use supports for speaker joint and top cover and same slicer settings
  3. Use no supports for base printing with 2 walls and 15-20% infill

Directions:
I have used PLA to print all the parts. For best results use either PETG or PLA-CF.
If after printing you notice micro holes post process the internal walls with epoxy resin.
Make a 4mm hole either with drilling machine or a solder gun for speaker wires.
After mounting speakers in the box attach each boxes with speaker joint without any screws satisfying feel.
mount all the speakers on the base.

My setup:
I have used ZK-TB21 2.1 amplifier for these speakers and 2inch 5 watt 4 ohm speakers.
On each channel i used 4 speakers 2 each connected in series and then in parallel for finally attaining 4 ohm setup.
Totally 20 watt on each channel and 40 watt output in stereo.
