500gm coffee tin - or custom size

Included is a cad file to create your own tracks for different sized tins.
Open with OpenScad and enter the circumference of your tin.

Print:
6 x tin track
3 x free gear
3 x free bracket
1 x motor gear
1 x drill guide
1 x Stepper gear
1 x Double gear
1 x Stepper stand

Assembly
Attach the drill guide to the wood and drill small pilot holes for the wood screws

Use wood screws to fasten the stands and brackets to wood backing.
Insert a M3 nut into the bottom of the stepper gear, then a M3-6 screw through the hole on the side. secure it to the stepper motor.
Attach the stepper motor to the bracket using the M3-10 screws
Thread into the stand a using the M8 threaded rod; a M8 washer, then the double gear, followed by the second M8 washer. Fasten using 2 M8 lock nuts.
Fasten the free wheels with M8-40 bolts and lock nuts. Align wheels on the same track in the same direction.
Use the M3-20 screws and M3 nuts to attach the tacks to the tin. Orientate tracks to mesh with the motor and wheels. The spacing between adjacent tracks can be adjusted a little by tightening and loosening the M3-20 screws. If need be use foam tape between the tin and the tracks to pad things out.
Wind the wire around a rod or dowel. Stretch the wound wire out to look like a spring. Insert the spring into the tin, coiling it around the inside walls.
Connect the stepper motor, driver, and controller to the power supply.

Place media into tin
Close tin
Place tin on tracks
Run the motor pulling down on the tin. IE the motor in the configuration shown rotates clockwise when looking at the screws in the gear.
