CJSM2 Universal Phone Mount - Tripod Adapter
These devices slide onto a CJSM2 Wheelchair's control section and mount a phone mount - that was originally designed for a tripod - to it with the help of an additional bolt. The two file options include a mount that puts the phone at the front - more out of the way, but further from, the user - or inside and lower, closer to the user. The "Low Inside Mount" may need to be removed prior to entering or exiting the chair, depending on mobility. This is an incredibly easy slide on/off problem and has not been much factor to my sole user. The Low Mount is perfectly symmetrical EXCEPT FOR the mount portion itself. There should be no problem mirroring the print if you would like the phone to be mounted on the right side of the joystick.
I've found that pairing a Pop-It with MagSafe compatibility and a MagSafe mount seems to be the best balance of easy accessibility and us, but any number of phone-tripod mounts will work, so long as they accept a 1/4-20 screw. Pictured specifically is a NEEWER Magnetic Tripod Phone Mount (amazon.com/dp/B0D2YDTT3D/ref=twister_B0GH1JVPZ3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) and a PopSocket brand Magnetic Phone Grip (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2YDTT3D/ref=twister_B0GH1JVPZ3?_encoding=UTF8&th=1).
Parts Required:
- 1x CJMS2 Mount of your choosing
- 1/4-20 x 1" pan head screw
- roughly 1" long - uploading this now, but do not have access to my print, it is on a friends wheelchair. Will verify screw length soon - but currently, 1" is estimate - last updated 14 July 2026, expect update no later than 20 July 2026
- 1x cell phone mount compatible with a tripod
The STL files do not load to optimal print orientation, expect this to be updated no later than 15 August 2026...I just need to figure out how to do that so they default the right orientation.
