Сonversion suspension kit for Subaru from Casadio

Please read this text, it contains a lot of important information (there may be grammatical errors, as English is not my native language).

Honestly, I have no idea how you'll assemble this junk I've created. But so many people have been asking me to post it. Well, good luck! xD (If you have any questions, ask them on inst @sodeex_rc)

This is my version of the suspension for the Casadio body. Some parts may not fit together well; you'll need a little filing, sometimes adding shims, and a little patience.

I handcrafted many of the parts out of metal, as plastic ones seemed too weak (I've included a photo of the steering component sketch).

I mostly had to use components I had on hand, which is why there are so many different parts from different chassis listed.

For the servo mount, I decided to use a metal bracket attached to the suspension subframe. I found it easier and more reliable.

Component list:

  1. Differentials - from HSP FlyingFish (I had to slightly modify the output shafts of the front differentials to fit the drive shafts)
  2. Rear drive shafts - telescopic adjustable shafts from HSP.
  3. Front drive shafts - metal, Traxxas Erevo 1/16
  4. Front steering knuckles - Traxxas Erevo 1/16 (ID 7034, 7033)
  5. Steering gear - Traxxas Slash 4WD (I had to modify it; I replaced the crossmember and made it out of metal. I've added a photo of the sketch)
  6. Center driveshaft - it's better to buy a long driveshaft specifically designed for shortening.
  7. I used a 3 mm nail to attach the suspension arms.
  8. Gearbox from AliExpress. I don't know what it's called. It's sold with a transfer case. It comes in two versions: a two-speed and a single-speed. I used the single-speed and connected them together by replacing the shaft in the transfer case and the transmission. This hack saved a lot of space.
