RC Jet Boat
RC Jet Boat
My own take of an RC jet boat.
Heavily remixed the hull of: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930577
And AI-generated impeller, which turned out to be almost 2x faster than my own design.
Short Clip of it:

Material used
Similar parts should work as well.
- 1x 3660 2200KV brushless motor
- 1x 60A ESC
- 1x 3S 2200mAh LiPo (I also use a 2S 2200mAh a lot since 3S is harder to handle.)
- 1x receiver
- 1x SG90 servo (22.7 x 12.2 x 27 mm)
- 1x 3mm x 100mm steel axle
- 2x 3x4x10mm stainless steel bearings
- 2x 3mm x 4mm grub screws
- 1x MultiBond glue
- 8x M3 screws (4 for the motor mount, 4 for the jet nozzle)
- 2x M2.5 screws (servo)
Print settings
Printed on a Snapmaker Artisan.
If your printer can't fit the full hull, print the top section with 0.9 mm larger X/Y dimensions. Overlap the two hull sections by about 20 mm and glue them together.
PETG for everything except the impeller, which was printed in PLA+. I wasn't able to get smooth overhangs with PETG.
No supports for anything.
Vase mode (0.45mm line width)
- AxelSleave
- Battery_Box
- Esc_Box
- WaterCoolingConnectors
Vase mode (0.9mm line width)
- Hull
- HullTop (0mm tolerance, so used -0.4mm Horizontal Expansion)
Optional
These are only there as extra security in case water gets into the hull.
- Battery_Box
- Esc_Battery_Holder
- Esc_Box
If you don't want water cooling, print WaterCoolingConnectors as Solid with 25% height and glue them in as plugs.
Instructions
Eh, you'll figure it out. :D
Just file two flat spots on the axle for the grub screws to grab onto for the impeller.
