ZMR250 camera mount without top deck
Update 10.07.2015:
Added ~15° version.
Added slightly taller version to accomodate cameras with their plugs along the bottom edge.
Added STL files, even though they're fairly messy.
Update 08.06.2015:
Added a "sturdy" version. The previous version will protect the camera better by breaking on impact, but I felt it broke a bit too quickly sometimes. This one is strengthened and should be able to handle lighter impacts better.
I use my ZMR 250 without the top deck, as it weighs almost 20 unneccesary grams and I have my battery below the quad rather than up top. I needed a simple, removable camera mount, and after seeing the (source) mount recently, I modified it to this (also adjusted slot width and depth, added gap to hide cable tie in at the bottom).
- Fits onto the two front post/landing gear screws
- Cable tie mount (2.5x200mm), easy to replace
- Camera is not held so firmly that it will be damaged in a crash, will pop out to the back
Print with low infill, no support, I used 15 or 20%. M3 lock nuts will fit on it.
