coil winder

this is my open source wire coil winder project. the same parts can be used for a hand winder or a nema 17 can be bolted in place of the one 42mm cube. then you can make an automated winder.
it has a face plate with a magnet spot. the magnet triggers electronics of the turn counter. the turn counter is digital and will be in the video.
also there will be some special parts for special bobbin coil winds posted in the future

****NOTE i used 5/16 allthread, because i live in the usa and 8mm anything is hard to get. the skate bearings are zz608 and 8mm through hole, and 5/16 all thread a a little loose. the stl files are for 5/16 nuts, not 8mm nuts. i gave you the blender files so you can fit 8mm nuts if needed. i also lft a little slop in the 608 bearing printed hole because some printers print differenly. you can wrap the bearing in tape or paper to the correct size, if needed

NOTE there are files for using only 608 bearings and some marked thrust bearing, the thrust bearing is on the coil side and is a cheap thrust bearing from ebay when using high presure force with the next attachments. there will be a tail stock that pushes special bobbins together. thus the thrust bearing
