24mm Model Rocket (Estes D motor)

USE NO LESS THAN 5 BODY TUBES TO ENSURE STABLE FLIGHT

This is my design for a 24mm rocket, modeled around an Estes D motor.
I've flown two of them (see video), and they both went so high I could not recover them even with 36 inch Mylar streamers instead of a parachute (it was pretty windy). I have a third ready to go, but I'm waiting for a day with less wind to fly it.

I also tested one on the ground to make sure the spiral print would survive the ejection charge.

I've included the .ork file to be used with Open Rocket if you want to play with the design and test for stability.
