EMAX 250 Nighthawk ventilated side plates
Hey all, I had originally designed these plates to be completely solid, but it caused a ton of yaw problems at high speeds, which you just can't have while flying 40mph through trees. I discovered that this is a common problem with side plates, and I needed the red posts to be covered up to go with my yellow scheme, so I designed these bad boys! I just tested my quad with them on in highly turbulent wind, while going full clip, and it flies great! One of the .STLs has cutouts for the PWM cable going to the receiver, coming out of the Naze. This gives you unhindered access to the board's programming port at the back with the battery removed! If you don't need the cutouts, you can take the STL without the cutouts and flip it as needed in your slicer.
