Summary

Inspired by Matthew Livaudais' 'Sustainable Chess Set'.

Chess set made of layers of plywood, the 2 colors on the plan are made by stripes of engraved lines in squares.

Instructions

Red lines are "cut", green ones are "engrave".

Made in plywood of 3mm, I used 4 layers for the pieces but for the big ones (jester, Queen and King) I Think 5 or 6 are needed. Especially for the "empty silhouette ones.

If I would redo it, I wound'nt put the horizontal and vertical lines which draw the squares. It is much more beautiful when only the stripes do it.
