Kennel Locking Cover

My female dog is an escape artist. She will constantly apply pressure to the kennel door until she eventually gains her freedom. Luckily, she almost never needs to be in her crate anymore. However, there are times it is still necessary.

I made some design changes as well as original prints of the plastic cover covering the spring locking mechanism on my crate.

Kennel_Original.stl - original cover. no changes, just a replacement part.

Kennel_Straight_Shaft - Modified design to allow for a completely different locking method (home depot bought metal release shaft)

Kennel_Tensioner - This is a spring less design that allows you to still secure your dog with the absence of the original springs. This design also has places for zip ties to further secure the cover.
