FPV250 Quadcopter Landing Gear Extended
This is an extended version of the FPV250 landing gear which is useful for people with the FPV250LH "Low Hung" variant where the fuselage hangs below on vibration isolation. It gives more clearance.
This is my first hack using SketchUp (that file is included). Basically I kept the same mount and stretched the leg part upwards. You could take the model in SketchUp or another tool and do the same to your own pre-defined height, but I think it really needs to be re-designed with different/morre support struts across when it gets too long.
Another change which is necessary is to widen the profile at least at the bottom, because after printing I get the feeling it could break easily with horizontal motion, if you land at an angle. This is just a quick first attempt for anyone who needs a longer landing gear quickly.
I think a better solution would be to remove the legs altogether and have a helicopter skid, that way the battery could also be mounted underneath allowing more clearance for 6 inch props on the FPV250.
