Summary

A socket for mounting LED's into standard perforated 1/4" hole pegboard.

Instructions

Print the sockets and clips in batches. I found that a batch of eight printed on a raft yielded good results. The socket will work with two lead 3mm, 5mm and 8mm LED's. The LED leads will have to be trimmed to make an electrical connection with both pins. The socket portion of the clip is a standard, low cost female machined round header. Simply snap off a section of two and use a thick cyanoacrylate to glue them on. It is best to use a trimmed LED to position the header section when glueing. Also while glueing, try to place the socket in a position/orientation where the glue will not wick into the lead holes.
