Summary

Clips onto dash of Chevy Traverse (2011) and provides 17mm mount for phone holder to connect to. Being used with an Arkon universal mount, but anything that connects to a 17mm ball should work.

Instructions

The 2 parts are connected with three 1 inch #8 wood screws. The smaller ID of the screw holes on the post were cleaned out with a 5/32 drill bit to give a smooth ID with sufficient thread bite and not put too much strain on the plastic.

Support used on the plate part to keep the of the overhang for the clip portions in good shape to clip in place.

Clip in place by first hooking the lower left clip in place and the slowly pushing the top clip in place at the vent Fits tight enough that it may break when removing.
