Summary

Not soft unless you print it with a flexi filament, but at least they're round and unlike the ones we bought that tape on these can't be pulled off by the rugrat. Two screws from the bottom side that don't go all the way through so no scars after they're removed.

Instructions

Printed upright as in the STL, with a single hot end using Slic3r and forcing support for the first 30 layers to create something like a glorified raft. 5%-10% 3D infill is more than enough, the ball shape gives a lot of natural strength. I even did the walls at only 2 layers. My printer is a Makerfarm i3v 12".

This was made to attach to our 20mm thick coffee table top (see pics). You'll probably want to remix this for your specific table top thickness. Easiest way to do that is to edit it on Tinkercad and "ungroup" it until you find the square hole. Resize the square hole and put it back together.
